About Us
 

At Beatwave we design strategies, communications and develop award-winning creative solutions to give our clients clear advantages over others. We take a holistic approach to all marketing activities from initial research through the creation and production of content. We established Beatwave in 2008 after a long career managing and working in large multi-national and national advertising agencies. Through this experience we realised there is a better way to provide marketing, research and design services to our clients. The traditional ‘bricks & mortar’ agencies and design studios have permanent staff and therefore are limited in what skills they can offer and are also encumbered with fixed overheads they need to re-coup from their clients. Beatwave does not have staff or large offices. For each of our clients projects we gather a group of professionals with the relevant skills for that project. This structure allows us to provide the best marketing & design solutions economically, without having to re-coup large fixed overheads.

Lyn Punshon is a Creative Director/Designer with over 40 years experience. Initially with Hertz Walpole in Melbourne and then Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne and Adelaide. In 1991 he joined Andrew Killey and Peter Withy as a partner in KWP! Advertising. In 2004 he created his own business, P.Create, and undertook a term as a Creative Director at Martins Integrated before establishing Beatwave in August 2008. Along the way Lyn has won numerous creative awards and has been President of the Adelaide Advertising & Design Club three times.

What We Do.

Marketing

  • We develop plans, briefs, content, articles, blogs, metrics and really, anything it takes to generate results from marketing. Our approach to developing marketing strategies is to focus on the message, the audience and the objectives before briefing creative or selecting channels.

Research

  • We specialise in inventive research methods. In gathering insights for our clients, we interview, survey, film, play, chat, post, feed and observe. Our approach to developing research methods is to focus on the objective (i.e. how you’ll make the results worthwhile) before thinking about methodology and process.

Design

  • We create engaging designs and content in all media. Our websites, branding, commercials, infographics, packaging and ads are always focused on achieving our clients’ marketing objectives within their resourcing capabilities.

    Our client has recently been to 'sharing economy' conferences in Europe. That has created interest and enquiry from from France, UK and Spain in using the 'Share N Save' platform in their regions.

  • “Beatwave receives media award from Variety International, recognising contribution to Variety SA's marketing & design”

    Each year at the Variety International Conference, Tents from around the globe are invited to nominate various individuals and corporate supporters for a range of awards. One of these awards relates to media organisations who promote awareness of Variety, the children's charity brand and mission. This year we were delighted to be advised by the Board of Variety, the children's charity - Tent 75 nominated Beatwave for a 2015 'Variety International Media Award' and this was ratified by Variety International.
